When Henry was a few weeks old , I was changing his nappy when George came running over with shoes on and kicked him full pelt in the head. I was horrified and after a dash to A&E made another appointment with my GP to discuss my growing concerns over George. She agreed to refer us to CAHMS for assessment.
The next time we heard from the Dr was to tell us CAMHS wouldn’t see children of George’s age and they advised I enrolled on a parenting course starting shortly at the newly opened children’s centre.
